What is Diamond Discus?
DD is a Flying Disc game played on a Diamond shaped field for now a Baseball field.
The team on the field will consist of 6 players pitcher; catcher, 1st ,2nd, 3rd tossers, and the hover. If it is too easy to make a home run toss add a hover.
The Flinger (Batter in Baseball) will fling the Disc (that has been thrown by the Pitcher) into the field of play.
Three strikes in the Flingers D Zone Flinger will be called out. Four PUTZ (Balls in Baseball) Flinger will go to 1st D.
PUTZ : Pitchers Un-attainable Throwing Zone. The Zone that is out of reach of the Flinger.
Strike Zone in DD is now called the D Zone (For a Runner the D Zone is in front and behind the Runner). A Ball in baseball will now be called a PUTZ (Pitchers Un-attainable Throwing Zone).
UFO Zone is when the disc is out of the reach of a runner.
To advance from one diamond to the next D the Runner must catch the disc that has been thrown by the opposing team in the runners D zone not caught the runner will be called out.
To score a Run a Runner must catch the disc creative or in an athletic manner.

Home will be Home Diamond 1st base 1st D(Diamond), 2nd Second D, 3rd Base 3rd D. In Baseball “Foul Balls” are hit in Foul Territory; in Diamond Discus no Foul Territory. This Territory is now Out Territory. The Pitching mound in Diamond Discus for adults 50 ft should be fine remember you will be throwing a Disc. All of the Diamonds and the pitching mound should be level to the ground this will make game play much safer. The infield will be the dirt area the outfield will be the grass area.
Players on the field may not advance any closer than the 45ft mark until Flinger has released Flying Disc.Flingers toss has to be either a BB which must go beyond the 30ft mark or a Arm toss which has to land beyond the 45ft mark. The arm Toss Catch and release Flinger does not step into the Toss.
Runner must be running forward to the next diamond and not be running backward to catch the disc unless runner turns backward at the last moment before catching disc.
Like Baseball the object of the game is to run the Diamonds (Bases) and get back to Home Diamond (Home Plate) to score a run team with the most runs Wins. To avoid going into Sudden Death if there is a tie to the score; should there be a team with more errors (U. F. O's) than the other team; team with the least amount of errors (U.F.O's)wins.
